Parts Train

Get Your Bumper On At The Parts Train!

What is up with the rear truck bumper on an F150? Seems to be one that always rusts out first. I used to own a 1990 Ford F150 and the rear bumper started showing signs of rust within the first year or so! Anyway, I have replaced so many rear truck bumpers on the F150 in my autobody shop that I have lost track of the count. One thing I have found out though is that the aftermarket replacement bumpers that I have been purchasing and installing from Parts Train seem to be holding up much better than the originals!

If you need a replacement rear truck bumper for your Ford F150, or any other truck for that matter, take it from me…I have replaced several and Parts Train definitely has the quality you want at a great price too. Also, in most if not all cases, you will get Free Shipping thrown in too!

Ford F150 Aftermarket Bumper

Ford F150 Aftermarket Bumper

Buying an aftermarket bumper for your vehicle has never been easier as there are several online auto body parts dealers to choose from. From my vast experience of ordering auto parts online, I have found that one company tends to stand out above the rest…Parts Train.

I have been in the auto body industry for over twenty years now and own my own auto body shop. I simply cannot tolerate a company that does not ship on time, all the time. I have customers who need their vehicles back on the road as soon as possible, and if I am dealing with an auto parts supplier that cannot deliver quickly and accurately…well, I move on to somebody that can.

Parts Train has consistently delivered auto parts in a fast and efficient way. When ordering aftermarket bumpers, which I do several times a month, Parts Train gives me the best price for a quality aftermarket bumper and they deliver it with Free Shipping! Can’t beat that with a stick!

2009 ford f150 4×4

whats msrp for a ford 2009 4×4 f150?

i need to know whats a msrp on a (new) ford f150 4×4 super crew basic truck seems so hard to find out thank you ,

MSRP (manufacturers suggested retail price) will vary greatly because there are many different variables.
Such as :
trim levels =XL, STX, XLT, FX4, LARIAT, Platinum, Harley, King Ranch,
wheelbases= 145″ & 156″
bed styles= Styleside & Flareside
bed sizes=5.5′ & 6.5′
and options… which are too many to mention, and will vary depending on trim level.

But for the basic trim level, with a 156″ wheelbase, the standard engine/trans, and a style-side bed, the base price (excluding Destination fee) is $32,835. The destination charge is an additional $975.

Example window sticker for a truck like ^that with some optional equipment:
http://www.inventory.fordvehicles.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1FTRW14899FA56380&ref=VL

but here is an XLT package with a different engine and a shorter wheelbase (meaning a shorter bed):
http://www.inventory.fordvehicles.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1FTPW14V89FA45237&ref=VL

And here is a Lariat package:
http://www.inventory.fordvehicles.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1FTPW14VX9KB40633&ref=VL

and a Platinum package:
http://www.inventory.fordvehicles.com/services/inventory/WindowSticker.pdf?vin=1FTPW14V99FB35013&ref=VL

So as you see, there is a wide range of MSRP’s. That may be why you have had a hard time finding out a straight answer.

I hope this helps.

The 2010 GMC Sierra vs. the 2010 Ford F150

Winnipeg is full of truck owners and you might find yourself wanting to be the next in line. If you have narrowed your choices down to the GMC Sierra and the Ford F150, you need to take a closer look at their specific details. Although they may be similar in some aspects, such as body style, transmission and being rear wheel drive, they have differences. Alone, these differences might not mean a lot, but combined, they can help you make a more informed decision before you purchase your truck.

If fuel economy is important to you, and it seems to be important to everyone, the GMC Sierra gets better fuel economy than the Ford F150. The Sierra gets 14.1L/100km in the city and 10.0L/100km on the highway. The F150 gets 14.4L/100km in the city and 10.4L/100km on the highway. The Sierra also has a bigger payload, at 888kg, compared to the F150 payload at 748kg. The Sierra even offers more front headroom and front hip room than the F150. The Sierra has chrome bumpers and the F150 has argent bumpers. This is a feature that some people find important.

The GMC Sierra has a 60-month/160,000km warranty for the powertrain and roadside assistance. The Ford F150 has a 60-month/100,000km warranty for the powertrain and roadside assistance. If you plan to use your truck both in and out of Winnipeg, you will probably put a lot of miles on it. The longer warranty could come in handy when it comes to paying for repairs. The Sierra also offers a standard OnStar package for emergency situations and navigation. The F150 does not have this option available as a standard feature.

Overall, the two trucks are fairly similar. But the minor differences add up to one thing – the GMC Sierra offers just a few more advantages than the Ford F150. You will have to make up your mind on your own. But if you are wanting the most bang for your buck, you need to take a long look at the Sierra. Some of the standard features could sway you in its direction.

REMEMBER… Most of the time choosing a reputable GMC Dealer in the area will leave you with the feeling of getting a great car at a great price instead of feeling buyers remorse from a ending up with a pushy salesman.

Get started today for the most enjoyable car buying experience EVER.
